About ARC
Talent is everywhere.Opportunity should be too.
The Accra Resource Center began with support from Project Catalyst and a bold vision to make technology education, innovation and opportunities more accessible to young Africans.
Our Story
From an idea to a community hub.
ARC was founded on a simple belief: talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not.
Many young Africans have the curiosity, creativity and ambition to contribute to the digital economy, but they often lack access to the right training, mentorship, networks and practical learning environments. With early support from Project Catalyst, ARC began building a space where people could learn, collaborate, experiment and connect with opportunities in technology and innovation.
Since then, ARC has continued to grow from a funded idea into an active community of learners, builders, professionals and changemakers.
A community-driven learning and innovation hub for young Africans.
What We Do
Skills, mentorship, and opportunity.
ARC empowers individuals and communities through accessible digital skills training, mentorship, entrepreneurship support, innovation programmes and community-based initiatives.
Our work is focused on helping people learn practical skills, build confidence, explore new technologies, collaborate with others and contribute meaningfully to Africa's development.
Through training programmes, workshops, campus activations, community events and innovation-focused initiatives, ARC creates opportunities for people to move from interest to action.
How Far We've Come
Growing every single day.
From our early beginnings with Project Catalyst support, ARC has grown into a recognized space for technology learning, community engagement and innovation in Ghana.
We have supported learners through practical training, introduced communities to emerging technologies, hosted educational programmes and created platforms for young people to connect, learn and build together.
Every programme, partnership and community initiative brings us closer to our goal of creating meaningful and lasting impact.
To empower individuals and communities through accessible digital skills training, mentorship, entrepreneurship support and innovation programmes that prepare people to learn, build, collaborate and contribute to Africa's development.
To become a leading community-driven innovation and learning hub that enables young people, entrepreneurs, students and underserved communities to access skills, resources, mentorship and opportunities that create meaningful and lasting impact.
Looking Ahead
ARC's journey is still unfolding.
As technology continues to shape the future of work, education, entrepreneurship and community development, ARC is committed to preparing more young Africans to participate, contribute and lead.
We are building more than a learning center. We are building a community where people can gain skills, access mentorship, discover opportunities and become part of Africa's growing innovation story.
